   Thanks Carmen. It’s quite an uplifting and interesting topic. Particularly liked the research into the negative impact of praising for good grades instead of the learning process. I can understand how students could fear losing face and their positive reputation when approaching challenges. Will make an effort to praise more for attempting, participating and asking for help.
